Alumni Profile: Brian Houser ‘90

Brian Houser ’90 recently took the time to share a quick life update with us, as well as reflect on his time in Alpha Tau Omega.

While a student, Brian majored in Chemical and Electrical Engineering, and enjoyed supporting THON—a tradition he hopes never goes away.

During his time in the house, Brian enjoyed hanging out in the basement and by the foosball table, and he was proud to be part of the refounding class that brought the fraternity back to Penn State.

He identified the entire Executive Board from the refounding period as brothers who have had his back during his life, singling out “Bill, Dan, Mike, and Greg.”

Following graduation, Brian entered the US Navy to start the US Naval Aviation Training program. He was a US Naval Aviator for over 12 years on active duty and spent over seven years as a reserve Officer. Brian was stationed all over the world and has flown multiple military aircraft while deployed to over 10 countries and territories, in over 17 different locations.

Currently, Brian is flying corporate jets for NetJets all over the world with a fellow Gamma Omega alum, Chris Georgulis ’91

Brian added that he is “happy to buy dinner/drinks for any fellow Gamma Omega brothers traveling though Columbus, Ohio.”
