Our fraternity has had a long and noteworthy past. Although many of us finished our new member education many years ago, we thought it was time to share a few more fun facts about the history of Alpha Tau Omega.
- Alpha Tau Omega was the first fraternity founded after the Civil War (as well as the first presence of Greek life in the old Confederacy).
- There are more than 250 ATO chapters with more than 6,500 undergraduate members. Overall, ATO has over 200,000 members.
- ATO is recognized as part of “The Top Ten of Fraternity Row.”
- Alpha Tau Omega was the first to create a member success initiative.
- ATO awards over $245,000 annual scholarships.
